Moyes hails Redknapp's Spurs

Everton boss says Tottenham manager has made positive changes at White Hart Lane

Redknapp's Spurs have enjoyed an excellent season in the Barclays Premier League

Everton boss David Moyes has hailed the progress of Tottenham under Harry Redknapp - but insists Spurs will find the Toffees no pushover in Wednesday's Barclays Premier League match.

Tottenham will move within three points of League leaders Manchester City with a win over Everton at White Hart Lane.

"He's got a really exciting Tottenham team and a team I'd pay to go and watch."
- David Moyes

Moyes saluted the positive changes that Redknapp had made at Spurs.

"Harry has got a team. They've kicked on and he has brought in some really good players over the years like [Rafael] Van der Vaart and Scott Parker," he said.

"He has got a really good team and yeah they are title contenders.

"We're looking at them going away from us. But football always comes around sometime and some day hopefully they will be looking at the back of us.

"Harry looks a really good candidate for the England job and deservedly so. He's got a really exciting Tottenham team and a team I'd pay to go and watch.

"But they will know they will get a game against Everton. Harry won't be daft - he will know they will have to play well to get a result."
