Sessegnon sends Sunderland through

Extra-time winner sets up fifth-round FA Cup tie against Arsenal

Sunderland were made to work hard by their Championship opponents

Middlesbrough 1-2 Sunderland (after extra time)

Stephane Sessegnon scored the winning goal as Sunderland set up an all-Premier League FA Cup tie against Arsenal by beating Middlesbrough.

Jack Colback put the visitors into a first-half lead with a left-footed strike.

But Lukas Jutkiewicz pounced on a loose ball to level for Boro, but with penalties looking likely, Benin international Sessegnon hit the winner to put Martin O'Neil's side into the last 16.

Sunderland will host Arsenal on Saturday February 18th.
