Everton 2-0 Blackpool

Two goals in the first six minutes of the match secured Everton's place in FA Cup quarter-finals following a victory over former Barclays Premier League side Blackpool.

Royston Drenthe put the hosts in front after just 46 seconds with a powerful shot from the edge of the area before Denis Stracqualursi doubled the lead five minutes later.

The victory extends Everton's unbeaten run to seven matches as they qualified for the last eight for the second time in nine years.

Millwall 0-2 Bolton

Bolton cast aside their relegation struggles in the Barclays Premier League to secure their passage into the quarter-finals with a comfortable away win at Millwall.

Debutant Ryo Miyaichi, on loan from Arsenal, fired Bolton into the lead after four minutes with a fine curling strike past Steve Mildenhall.

David Ngog added a second in the 59th minute with a left-footed strike although Trotters keeper Adam Bogdan was forced to make two excellent saves to deny Harry Kane and Darius Henderson late on.

Norwich 1-2 Leicester

David Nugent's 71st-minute winner earned npower Championship side Leicester a surprise win against Barclays Premier League side Norwich at Carrow Road.

The visitors took in the lead in the fifth minute when Sean St Ledger's header flew past keeper Jed Steer following sustained Leicester pressure.

But the Canaries were level in the 23rd minute when Wes Hoolahan tapped in a rebound after Kaspar Schmeichel had saved his penalty.

Norwich pushed forward in search of an equaliser after Nugent's goal but Leicester held on for a last-eight spot.
