Rovers shock United at Old Trafford

Grant Hanley scores the winner as Blackburn surprise Man Utd

Rovers striker Yakubu scored twice for the visitors at Old Trafford

Manchester United 2-3 Blackburn

Blackburn pulled off one of the biggest shocks of the season when they beat Manchester United at Old Trafford to move off the bottom of the table.

Yakubu opened the scoring from the penalty spot against the run of play after Dimitar Berbatov had fouled Rovers defender Chris Samba.

Blackburn's top scorer Yakubu then got his 12th League goal of the season to open up a 2-0 lead, but Berbatov answered for United within two minutes.

Berbatov grabbed an equaliser from an Antonio Valencia cross but Blackburn defender Grant Hanley ensured a vital three points for the visitors when he headed the winner.
