Redknapp says Bale 'unstoppable'

Spurs boss raves about winger after match-winning performance at Norwich

Gareth Bale scored both goals for Tottenham in the win at Norwich

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp was full of praise for winger Gareth Bale after he inspired Spurs to victory at Norwich.

Bale scored both goals as Tottenham won 2-0 to keep within touching distance of the top two in the Barclays Premier League.

The Welsh winger's form has been a major factor in a run of results that has seen Tottenham lose only one League match since August.

"There's not a weakness in his game"
- Harry Redknapp

"He's an amazing player, an amazing footballer," said Redknapp.

"He's got everything - he's 6ft 2in, he can head the ball, he's as strong as an ox, he can run, dribble, shoot - he can do the lot.

"He pops up in positions between the midfield and defence and it's difficult to pick him up. And once he turns and runs, like he did for the second goal, he's unstoppable.

"There's not a weakness in his game and most important of all he's a smashing lad."
