Two quick goals for Wolves ended Sunderland's hopes
Steven Fletcher scored twice as Wolves took full advantage of a missed penalty from Sebastian Larsson to come from behind and beat Sunderland.
New Black Cats boss Martin O'Neill was watching from the stands and was delighted when a fierce Kieran Richardson shot put the visitors ahead in the 52nd minute.
But the complexion of the match changed when Wayne Hennessey saved Larsson's penalty on 73 minutes and seconds later, Fletcher headed Wolves level.
And the striker fired in the winnner shortly afterwards as Sunderland's winless run stretched to five matches.
