Coyle targets crucial month for Bolton

Trotters boss says run of wins can see them climb out of trouble

Bolton boss Owen Coyle is confident he can turn round the club's fortunes

Bolton boss Owen Coyle believes his side can climb away from the relegation zone with some crucial wins in December.

The Trotters are 19th in the Barclays Premier League table after a difficult spell that has seen them win only three of their opening 14 matches of the season.

But Coyle feels they can pick up enough points this month to start moving up the table - starting with their match at home to Aston Villa on Saturday.

"I believe we can take big points in December"

"It is a huge game for us," said Coyle, ahead of the visit of Alex McLeish's side.

"We have a period of games this month with games we think are all winnable and that starts with Villa.

"The Barclays Premier League is the best League in the world - the quality it holds can be unforgiving.

"We recognise we are in a dangerous area of the League. But I believe we can take big points in December."
