Carlos Tevez scored a hat-trick as Manchester City narrowed the lead at the top of the Barclays Premier League to two points with a ruthless victory over Norwich City at Carrow Road.
Tevez put the visitors in front with a shot that beat John Ruddy at his near post before setting up his compatriot Sergio Aguero with a neat backheel that the forward fired into the top corner.
Norwich got themselves back into the match when Andrew Surman scored early in the second half but Tevez put them 3-1 up, Aguero got a second and Tevez completed his hat-trick after rounding Ruddy.
Substitute Adam Johnson finished off a fine move to complete the scoring as City moved to within two points of leaders Manchester United, who face Aston Villa on Sunday.
