Swans undone by Cisse strikes

Newcastle forward grabs two more goals to boost club's top-four hopes

Wayne Routledge and Swansea could not find a way through against Newcastle on Friday

Swansea City 0-2 Newcastle United

Newcastle United's fairytale season continued in the Barclays Premier League as they won at Swansea to move to within two points of Arsenal in third place.

The Magpies got off to the perfect start when Yohan Cabaye threaded a pass through for Papiss Cisse to take a touch and roll the ball past Michel Vorm.

Swansea dominated possession but could not find a breakthrough, with Gylfi Sigurdsson stinging the palms of Tim Krul and Joe Allen forcing a save too.

But Cisse doubled the lead with a second glorious finish from another clever Cabaye pass and the Magpies held on to collect another crucial three points.
