Saturday's Barclays Premier League round-up

Blackburn finish well beaten at Swansea and QPR slip up away to West Brom

Nathan Dyer scored the second goal for Swansea at home to struggling Blackburn

Swansea City 3-0 Blackburn Rovers

Swansea City ran out comfortable winners at home to Blackburn Rovers, who remain deep in relegation trouble.

Gylfi Sigurdsson put Swansea in front with a curling, pinpoint left-foot shot from the corner of the area and then Nathan Dyer added a second after good work by Scott Sinclair on the left.

And Swansea made sure of the three points when a Sigurdsson shot hit the post and was put into his own net by unfortunate Blackburn defender Scott Dann.

West Bromwich Albion 1-0 Queens Park Rangers

Graham Dorrans scored a stunning winner as West Bromwich Albion edged out Queens Park Rangers at the Hawthorns.

Dorrans drove in a right-foot shot in the first half that flew past QPR keeper Paddy Kenny.

Billy Jones hit the woodwork for the home side, while QPR went close through Bobby Zamora but their poor away form continued.

Sunderland 0-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Sunderland and Wolverhampton Wanderers both spurned goalscoring opportunities in a goalless draw at the Stadium of Light.

Sunderland went close through a James McClean shot and then in the closing stages Seb Larsson fired over the bar from close range.

Wolves, whose best chance of the match came from a Steven Fletcher header that was saved by Sunderland keeper Simon Mignolet, ended a run of seven defeats in a row in the Barclays Premier League but remain eight points adrift of safety at the foot of the table.
