Premier League stars set for national duty

Discover which of the 150+ players will be in action for their countries this week

  • Ashley Cole has been part of the senior England set up since making his debut in 2001

  • Yohan Cabaye, left, is one of four Newcastle players in the France squad

  • Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski is on Germany duty against France

  • Manchester United striker Robin van Persie will line up for the Netherlands against Italy

More than 150 players from the Barclays Premier League will be looking to show their skills on the international stage this week in matches that are being played all around the world.

The players will be taking part in international friendlies, FIFA World Cup qualifying as well as Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals.

It will be a special week for Chelsea left-back Ashley Cole, who will win his 100th England cap in the friendly against Brazil at Wembley Stadium.
