19 March 2008 Tottenham 4-4 Chelsea

A brilliant strike from Robbie Keane in the dying moments gave Tottenham Hotspur a share of the spoils in a pulsating draw with Chelsea in the Barclays Premier League.

The title-challenging visitors got off to a flying start, with Didier Drogba putting Avram Grant’s side in front after only three minutes.

Jonathan Woodgate equalised for Juande Ramos’s side before Chelsea went 3-1 ahead through goals by Michael Essien and Joe Cole. Tottenham came back again, pegging their rivals back to 3-3, thanks to strikes from Dimitar Berbatov and Tom Huddlestone, but Chelsea looked set to take the points with Cole’s second goal of the evening ten minutes from time.

But, with two minutes of normal time remaining, Keane curled a superb effort past Carlo Cudicini to cap off a breathtaking encounter. The draw left Tottenham in 10th position, while Chelsea were five points off league leaders Manchester United in third.
