Andy Carroll moves to West Ham

England striker Andy Carroll has joined West Ham United from Liverpool.

Carroll is 24 years old. He is now West Ham's most expensive signing. West Ham decided to get him after he played on loan for them last season.

Andy Carroll said: "The fans, the lads and the club itself has been great to me, and what I wanted to do was come back here and play football."

He started his career with Newcastle United before he joined Liverpool in 2011. He played for England at Euro 2012 and scored against Sweden.
