Anelka back in Premier League with West Brom

Former Chelsea and Arsenal star Nicolas Anelka moves to West Brom

Nicolas Anelka has played for five other teams in the Premier League

West Bromwich Albion have signed French striker Nicolas Anelka on a free transfer.

The 34-year-old left Italian team Juventus at the end of the season. He has played in the Premier League before with Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Bolton Wanderers and Chelsea.

Anelka has scored 123 goals in the Premier League. He has also won the league title with Arsenal and Chelsea.

West Brom manager Steve Clarke said: “The more quality players you can bring to the club the better – and no-one can question Nicolas’ quality."
