Italian goalkeeper Vito Mannone joins Sunderland from Arsenal

Goalkeeper Vito Mannone has joined Sunderland from fellow Barclays Premier League team Arsenal.

Mannone is 25-years-old and is from Italy. He joined Arsenal in 2005. He played nine times in the Barclays Premier League for Arsenal last season.

He joins after Sunderland's first choice goalkeeper Simon Mignolet went to Liverpool.
