Europa League: Swansea win away at Valencia

Swansea beat Spanish giants Valencia 3-0; Spurs beat Tromso 3-0 at home

Michu scored as Swansea earned a 3-0 win away at Valencia

Swansea City's first ever UEFA Europa League group match finished in a 3-0 away win over Spanish La Liga side Valencia.

Valencia defender Adil Rami was sent off in the ninth minute for a foul on Wilfried Bony. Bony gave Swansea the lead on 14 minutes with a deflected shot.

Michu made it 2-0 on 58 minutes and De Guzman scored their third with a 30-yard free-kick.

Jermain Defoe scored twice as Tottenham Hotspur started their Europa League group with a 3-0 victory over Tromso.

Summer signing Christian Eriksen also scored against the team from Norway as they won 3-0 at White Hart Lane.
