Champions League: Javier Hernandez double delights manager

Mixed results for Man Utd and Chelsea in Europe while Frank Lampard suffers calf injury

Manchester United's Javier Hernandez scores the first goal against Braga on Tuesday

Manchester United star Javier Hernandez may have earned himself a place in the team for the crunch match with Chelsea after his impressive UEFA Champions League display against Braga.

Javier scored in each half to help his side come back from two goals down to claim a 3-2 Group H victory at Old Trafford on Tuesday.

"Chicharito has given me a good problem," said United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

"He's got me thinking, I must say that. He and [Robin] van Persie and [Wayne] Rooney and Welbeck... I don't know what to do with them to be honest with you."

Meanwhile, Chelsea suffered a 2-1 defeat at in-form Shakhtar Donetsk with Frank Lampard suffering a calf injury.
