Champions League: Manchester clubs shine

Man Utd beat Real Sociedad 1-0 and Man City get away win against CSKA Moscow

Manchester United players celebrate scoring against Real Sociedad

Manchester United stayed top of their UEFA Champions League group after beating Real Sociedad 1-0 at Old Trafford.

David Moyes' Man Utd side took the lead inside two minutes when Inigo Martinez scored an own goal following a great run from Wayne Rooney and a strike that hit the post.

Man Utd now have seven points from three matches and lead Group A.

Manchester City came from behind to beat Russian side CSKA Moscow away from home.

Sergio Aguero scored twice after former Man Utd midfielder Zoran Tosic gave CSKA the lead. Man City have six points from three matches and are second in Group D.
