Campbell made 15 appearances for Sunderland this season

Sunderland striker Fraizer Campbell has left the club to join Championship leaders Cardiff City for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old had spells at Manchester United, Hull City and Tottenham Hotspur before joining Sunderland in 2009.

He made a total of 72 appearances for Sunderland, scoring 10 goals, and was out of contract in the summer.

Campbell has signed a three-and-a-half year deal with Cardiff.
