Luis Suarez scored two goals as Liverpool beat Sunderland 3-1

Luis Suarez scored twice as Liverpool won 3-1 against bottom club Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

This was Suarez's first Barclays Premier League match since completing a 10-match ban. Daniel Sturridge, who set up both of Suarez's goals, also scored. Emanuele Giaccherini got Sunderland's goal.

Liverpool are now second in the league table.

Earlier on Sunday, Jonathan Howson scored as Norwich City got a 1-0 away win against Stoke City.
