Steven Gerrard has signed a new contract at Liverpool that will keep him at the club “until the end of his career”.
Gerrard, who is 33 years old, has been at Liverpool all of his career. The midfielder has won the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Cup, FA Cup and League Cup with the Reds.
The England international has scored 98 goals in the Barclays Premier League. He made his debut for Liverpool in 1998.
"I've been here that long and so to extend, it's a big day for me and I'm really happy for myself and my family," Gerrard told the club's website. "It's great news.”
