Allardyce and Sturridge win Barclays monthly awards

West Ham manager and Liverpool striker win awards after impressing during February

Daniel Sturridge won Barclays Player of the Month after scoring five goals in February

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge and West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce have won the monthly Barclays Premier League awards for February.

Sturridge was named Barclays Player of the Month for the second time this season after getting five goals and two assists in the month. He also won the award in August.

Allardyce collected the Barclays Manager of the Month award for February after West Ham picked up a maximum 12 points during the month. It is the fifth time that Allardyce has won the award, but the first time in more than seven years.
