Swansea City keeper Michel Vorm could be back in time for the Christmas period
Swansea City expect to be without star goalkeeer Michel Vorm for between six to eight weeks after he injured his groin in the 1-0 defeat by Manchester City.
The 29-year-old was stretchered off on 60 minutes after injuring himself as he tried to save Carlos Tevez's winning strike and is likely to be out until the Christmas period.
"It's a big blow for us because Michel is a very good goalkeeper who has been playing well," said Swans boss Michael Laudrup.
Meanwhile, Stoke City star Marc Wilson will be sidelined for several weeks after suffering a broken leg during Saturday's draw with Sunderland.
