Man City end Everton's unbeaten run

Goals from Aguero and Negredo help Man City beat Everton 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium

Sergio Aguero gave Man City a 2-1 lead against Everton at home

Manchester City came from behind to beat Everton 3-1 and became the first team to beat the Toffees in the Barclays Premier League this season.

Romelu Lukaku, on loan from Chelsea, gave Everton the lead, before Alvaro Negredo equalised soon after.

Sergio Aguero's powerful shot made it 2-1 in the second half. Tim Howard then scored an unlucky own goal after saving an Aguero penalty to make it 3-1.

The result puts both Man City on 13 points and Everton on 12 points after seven games.
