Suarez receives 10-match ban from FA

Liverpool forward out for rest of the season after receiving 10-match ban from Football Association

Liverpool's Luis Suarez received his ban following a clash with Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic

Liverpool forward Luis Suarez will miss the rest of the Barclays Premier League season after being handed a 10-match ban by the Football Association for violent conduct.

Suarez was charged this week following a clash with Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic during Sunday's 2-2 Barclays Premier League draw at Anfield in which Suarez appeared to bite the arm of Ivanovic.

The 26-year-old Liverpool forward will miss the last four matches of this season and the first six games of the 2013/14 season.
