Gylfi Sigurdsson caught the eye with some fine performances for Swansea since January

Midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has agreed to join Swansea City, subject to having a medical.

Swansea have had an offer of £6.8m accepted by German side Hoffenheim and the 22-year-old star has finalised personal terms.

Gylfi has displayed impressive form for Swansea since joining the club on loan from Hoffenheim in January, scoring seven goals in 18 Barclays Premier League appearances.

He is expected to have his medical later this week.
