Liverpool captain could miss another month of the season

Liverpool's Steven Gerrard fires in a shot

Steven Gerrard could miss another month of the season.

The 31-year-old Liverpool captain suffered a cut on his ankle in training which became infected.

Gerrard has only recently returned to action after six months out.

He could miss Liverpool's matches against Swansea, Chelsea and Manchester City as well as England friendlies against Spain and Sweden.
