Wolves midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has praised Michael Kightly after the winger claimed his first ever Barclays Premier League goal in the 3-2 defeat against Aston Villa.

Michael collected Frimpong's pass on the right, cut inside and slotted home into the far corner with his left foot.

"Michael is a good player who has been unlucky with injuries," said Emmanuel. "I'm just so happy for him.

"He scored a great goal with his left foot and I was pleased with the assist. I saw him on the wing and found him and it was a great finish."
