FA Cup: Man City, Chelsea and Wigan stroll on

Chelsea, Man City and Wigan score four each to progress to last eight

John Terry marks his return from injury with Chelsea's fourth goal against Brentford

Manchester City cruised into the FA Cup quarter-finals with a comfortable 4-0 victory over Leeds United.

Man City never really looked in trouble against Leeds as Yaya Toure helped them take control early on with Yaya Toure and Sergio Aguero scoring within the first 10 minutes. Carlos Tevez scored shortly after half-time and Aguero struck again with a smart finish on 72 minutes.

Wigan are through to the last eight of the FA Cup for the first time since 1987 after beating Huddersfield Town 4-1. Winger Callum McManaman opened the scoring, and the Latics went 3-0 up thanks to James McArthur and Arouna Kone.

Lee Novak's header gave Huddersfield hope in the second half, but Kone added a second to make the match safe.

Earlier in the day Chelsea reached the fifth round of the competition with a 4-0 fourth-round replay victory against Brentford. Juan Mata broke the deadlock with a low strike on 53 minutes and further efforts from Oscar, Frank Lampard and John Terry, making his return from a long-term knee injury, sealed the result.
