FA Cup: Everton denied by Oldham late show

Toffees draw 2-2 at Boundary Park while Arsenal are defeated by Blackburn Rovers

Oldham's Matt Smith scores the late equaliser against Everton

Everton conceded a dramatic late equaliser as their FA Cup fifth round tie against Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park ended in a 2-2 draw.

Jordan Obita gave the hosts the lead on 13 minutes only for Victor Anichebe and Phil Jagielka to put Everton within touching distance of the quarter-finals.

But Oldham piled the pressure on in the closing stages and Matt Smith got on the end of a 90th-minute corner to force the replay, which will take place at Goodison Park on 27 February.

Arsenal were dumped out of the FA Cup by a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Championship side Blackburn Rovers.

Despite having more possession and chances the Gunners were undone by a Colin Kazim-Richards goal with 18 minutes to go.
