Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has had a superb debut season in the Barclays Premier League
England boss Roy Hodgson tipped Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for a big international future after the Arsenal midfielder gave an assured performance in the 1-1 draw with France in UEFA Euro 2012.
Alex was a surprise pick for the starting line-up but Hodgson said the 18-year-old had earned his place.
"He deserved it," said Roy.
"The way he's played since coming into the squad, the performance he gave against Belgium, the ability he has to skip past defenders - which is an important ability to have - is excellent."
