Kenneth Omeruo helps Nigeria keep a clean sheet in the Africa cup of Nations final
Chelsea’s Victor Moses, John Obi Mikel and Kenneth Omeruo will return from South Africa in triumphant mood after helping Nigeria win the Africa Cup of Nations for the third time.
Moses set up Sunday Mba's winning goal, while Mikel was voted Man of the Match for his solid midfield display, as all three Blues players lasted the full 90 minutes to help the Super Eagles overcome surprise package Burkina Faso in the final.
Both Mikel and Moses will be back in time for Chelsea’s next Barclays Premier League match, against Manchester City on 24 February, while 19-year-old centre-back Omeruo will return to Dutch Eredivisie side ADO Den Haag, where he is on loan until the end of the season.
