Newcastle star is urging his team to aim for a top-four finish in the Barclays Premier League

Cheick Tiote reckons Newcastle might still be able to make the top four this season

Newcastle United star Cheick Tiote says this season will be among the best of his career - if the Magpies claim European qualification.

Newcastle are in sixth place and they are only five behind Arsenal in third spot with seven matches to play.

Cheick said: "The first target is obviously the Europa League, but why shouldn’t we be thinking about the Champions League as well? Who knows, it could happen."

He added: "If we qualify for Europe, I will look back on this season as one of the best in my career."
