Champions League: Cech out for season as Chelsea hold Atletico

Chelsea earned a 0-0 draw away from home in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final with Atletico Madrid.

In a close contest played at Estadio Vicente Calderon, home of Spanish side Atletico, Chelsea also lost goalkeeper Petr Cech and defender John Terry to injuries.

Cech will be out for the rest of the season after dislocating his shoulder, while Terry will miss the Blues' Barclays Premier League match against Liverpool on Sunday.

The second leg of the semi-final takes place next week.
