Steven Gerrard scored after coming on as a second-half substitute

Liverpool 3-1 Newcastle

Two goals from Craig Bellamy helped Liverpool to move into fifth place in the Barclays Premier League with a win over Newcastle.

The visiting team took the lead in the 25th minute through Daniel Agger's own goal but Bellamy scored his first four minutes later.

Bellamy added his second from a free-kick in the 67th minute before substitute Steven Gerrard finished off the scoring with a fine goal 12 minutes from full-time.
