Midfielder could return in March after missing whole season through injury

Jack Wilshere has not played for Arsenal this season because of a troublesome ankle injury

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is hoping midfielder Jack Wilshere will be able to return to action in March.

England international Jack, 20, has missed the whole season with an ankle injury, but Wenger has revealed he is getting closer to fitness.

"Jack can be back within a month if all goes well," said the Frenchman.

"The latest scan looks very positive. He can be back before the end of the season, of course."
