Emmanuel Adebayor is enjoying life at Tottenham so far this season

Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor says his manager, Harry Redknapp, has helped him become a better player.

Emmanuel signed for Spurs on a loan from Manchester City - and has scored five goals already this season.

"For me it's always special to have a manager like him," Emmanuel said.

"He has given me confidence, has given me my life back. He tells me before every game: 'Adebayor - go out there, you know what you can do, just enjoy your football."
