Official Sports Technology Partner and Interactive Games Licensee of the Premier League

EA SPORTS has held the exclusive Premier League Electronic Games Licence since 2003.

Through its FIFA franchise, a global phenomenon which has won 50 sports game of the year awards, EA SPORTS has been at the heart of the football gaming revolution.

Each new FIFA release uses Barclays Premier League teams, kits, players and stadia to guarantee fans experience the ultimate, most authentic football game every year.

Sports Technology Partner

In 2010, EA SPORTS enhanced its already strong relationship with the Premier League by becoming the Official Sports Technology Partner.

Through this new partnership and its association with official match data, EA SPORTS has developed unique analysis tools to enhance the knowledge and viewing experience of fans around the world, becoming an integral part of all Barclays Premier League broadcasts.

A key element of this partnership is the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index, an in-depth statistics matrix that measures a player’s all round contribution to the success of his team using objective criteria.

Each individual player's performance is rated and ranked after each round of the Barclays Premier League. Players that register the highest scores within the Index make an appearance in the EA SPORTS Team of the Week.
